Community Classes

All classes, unless otherwise stated, are open level so while some experience of yoga is useful it isn't essential. Modifications and options are offered for all levels of practitioner.

An early morning energy boost to wake up and make the most of the weekend.  This class will revive and refresh you leaving you ready to tackle whatever you have planned!

Ideal for beginners or those coming back to yoga.

Enjoy a slower paced practise with plenty of time and space to build up into a flow. This class will nourish you and help to prepare for the week ahead.  A perfect way to carve out some "me time"

Wednesday  7 - 8.15pm  Slow Flow  

 

In this slightly longer class we'll explore the postures and breath in greater detail.  We'll start by working dynamically before winding down to a gentler pace and releasing any tension.  Classes end with an indulgent relaxation and simple meditation.

A perfect way to wind down and prepare for a restful evening.

Mats & props are provided.

To tie in with my local weekly classes I'm excited to offer these longer, workshop events for those looking to deepen and progress their practise.

Each month we'll focus on a different area of the physical practise- inversions, arm balancing, deeper twists etc- breaking them down and exploring how to make them work best for your body & your practise.  

Over the course of 2 hours we'll take a dynamic flow to build up heat and open up our bodies for the physical focus of the class. We'll breakdown & explore the postures, with plenty of time to play and ask questions, before taking a counter flow to rebalance ourselves ready for the rest of the day.

You don't have to be an advanced practitioner to come to these sessions but an open mind & a willingness to learn is a must!  They are created to give you an in-depth introduction to the postures & a chance to explore in a safe environment with plenty of teacher attention.

july 8th, 2-4pm. developing a home practise- tips & tricks

The Room, Holcombe Road

It can be daunting trying to take your practise out of classroom so in this session I'll share some tips on how to create a satisfying, accessible home practise.  We'll look at everything from deciding what to practise, how to build up and balance out your sequence and some great tips on using everyday objects to develop your postures!

We'll flow through a well-rounded sequence, using props & walls in new ways & you'll leave with a few sample sequences to take home to inspire your next practise.

Private and small group classes

It can be daunting stepping into a class for the first time or after a long break and private sessions can be a great way to prepare for this. They can also give you the opportunity to work on deepening your practise, advance in a specific area or just enjoy some focussed attention.

I offer private one-to-one classes in London but also rates for small groups and corporate sessions.  If this is something you're interested in please contact me here.
